{disneyland photo op.}

I'm pretty proud of these edits. I think they turned out awesome.

I recently discovered a new way of casting a haze on a photo that already looks hazy. This way it looks warmer and more intentional. You do a color fill layer, change the layer mode to 'color', then adjust the opacity to your liking.The optimum would be to not have to crop out part of the picture. Someday I'll get a nice camera and be able to focus on composition, but for now... I lose some quality because I crop down the images. Note: If you can: work on this now.
I love my little girl!

Ohh I know, I wouldnt of been able to afford the 5D but ive been saving all my camera money since January. So Im almost there.. and I cant wait.. I estimate I will have it by May (hopefully).. And Wow Im glad you told me about Becky Earl Photography, her pics are AMAZING! I love GideonPhotography and Captured by Carrie photography! I could stay on the net all day looking at other poeples pics. I love it! But I try not to ever crop the pictures I take from a photo session, I just try to figure out the composition on the shoot. I dont like cropping unless I absoltly have to so it doesnt take away from the pixel count. But once I get that 5D it wont matter! :) Do you live in St.George or Salt Lake?

Hey girl! So I always ask my clients to pick a spot but they NEVER know where they want to go. So its always on me to end up choosing where we go. There has only been like two shoots where the client picked the spot. Its really hard coming up with good places to go too.. Good luck with your daughters shoot. I found that with little kids getting right up in their face with the camera gets cute pics of all their expressions. I like to stand directly above them while they are standing too and tell them to look at the "ladybug" in my lens and it might pop out if they smile big. it always works. and even if there not smiling just looking right up into your lens so intently looking for that ladybug that always makes a neat picture. But I really really need to take a class on how to use my camera better, im so bad about all the buttons and settings. When I use the natural light just make sure there is enough light to not make the picture blurry or grainy. like if your by a fence or something it might come out dark if your too close so step back or zoom out and try to get some more light in the pic.. But I bet it will turn out great and I cant wait to see your pics! What photoshop do you use? I use CS3. And I used to be way bad at compostition, but now I take my time more and study where I need to stand in where i need to zoom better before I take the pics. Do you remeber when we worked at Cafe Rio and sang Moulan Rouge all night.. that was fun, i was thinking about that the other night. no one else that works there wants to sing with me.. haha. :)
