{with this rose}

After my wedding, my Mom had my bouquet dried. I have since used it as a display item in our home. It has a lot of sentimentality for me. Recently, it got knocked over and several of the roses crumbled out of the middle of it. It no longer looked like a pretty display item. But I still wanted some way to hold on to it. I'm really attached to things with sentimental value - it's a curse! Anyone else have this curse? As you may or may not know, we got married Dec. 18 2004. Happy anniversary to us! So I only thought that it was appropriate that they be made into a dozen rose Christmas ornaments. I bought each of these plastic balls for $1 at Joann's I then cut the stem off each rose and put it in the ornament with some spanish moss. Then I took the ribbon from the clutch part of the bouquet and used them as hangers. I LOVE how they turned out. I need to get some nice white ribbon so I can lose the tulle but I am so happy with them. Has anyone else kept their bouquet? What have you done with it?

Hey Aubrey! I kept my bouquet! I just dried it out and I used to keep it in my living room--that is until Justin knocked it over! :( ?He didn't do too much damage to it, but I've decided to get a display box (like from Michael's) for it and display it in our bedroom :)
